Duties involve teaching introductory and intermediate studio courses, an integrated arts course, and slide-lecture art appreciation course with the concept of multi-cultural art for students in grades 1 - 8. Other activities included the development of models for elementary and secondary art curricula sequentially consistent with the experimental mission of the St. Matthew School
1995 - 1997 1st grade classroom teacher, Japanese Saturday School, Normal, Illinois
This school was developed to support the education of Japanese children who live in the U.S. (from 1st - 9th grades) due to their parentsí job. Duties involved teaching Japanese and Arithmetic based on the Japanese national curriculum to prepare to go back to Japan in the future. Other activities concerned the development of Japanese and Arithmetic curricula integrated with art to learn such academic subjects with a visual thinking strategy.

This school was also developed to support the education of Japanese children who live in the U.S. (K-12). Duties involved teaching Japanese based on the Japanese national curriculum. Other activities included the development of a Japanese curriculum integrated with art based on a visual thinking strategy to encourage students who do not have motivation to learn Japanese since some students do not plan to go back to Japan.
